Calling all Ladybugs!

Chickens, sheep, and cats OH MY!

What a beautiful time to retreat at Lake Fort Smith! This week was full of fun, games, casseroles not to mention some new munchies favorites like peanut butter fudge and chocolate waffle cookies…the best food cooks in NWA and THE BEST QUILT FAIRY!

Last year, I was fascinated by all the quilts covering each of the ladybug bunks. I took pictures of every bed. This year my fascination continued but on a more minuscule size, pincushions! Can you find your pin holder? Can you tell whose is whose? How well do you know your quilting companion?

I prowled around snapping pictures of the cutest pin holders ever seen, and not too many were of the red tomato kind.  Some created out of need, and others expertly  crafted to resemble a favorite animal or a favorite pet, all having the same function- keeping pins in their place.

See you in November!  Bring your quarters for our SILENT QUILT AUCTION!

October Guild Meeting

What a fun day in Siloam Springs! Saturday’s are my favorite! I get to go to the guild meeting and the kids hit the parks and library! There were so many baby blankets donated to the hospital. Our number so far this year is 115. Here are a few…

With our “Git Er Done” list that will be wrapping up at the end of the year, the Dogwood Quilters are not only attempting to finish collected projects over the past few decades, but it is nearing CHRISTMAS TIME!

Check out these busy Quilters beautiful pieces….I spy with my little eye, QUILTED BASEBALLS!
